Government Center 715 E Ohio St Pittsburgh, PA 6:30 pm-8:30 pmInternational Whore’s Day began 46 years ago after hundreds of sex workers stormed churches in Lyon, France, in protest against horrid working conditions.
For this International Wh0re’s Day, we honor some incredible minds who’ve written about the intersections of being in the sex industry and living in a marginalized body in this punitive world.
You’ll hear excerpts from our favorite books by sex workers, read by some equally brilliant friends of SWOP who are local to the Pittsburgh scene. This will be a powerful and educational evening you don’t want to miss!
Tickets: $5-20. Refreshments will be served. This fundraiser event is in-person.
