Full Bio
Jessie Sage is a Pittsburgh-based writer, journalist, and sex work advocate whose work sits at the intersection of labor, desire, and the stories we’re not supposed to tell. Her column, “Nite Shift,” runs in the Pittsburgh City Paper, and her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, Rolling Stone, VICE, The Daily Beast, Hustler Magazine, and more.
She is a contributing author to three sex work anthologies — We Too (Feminist Press, 2021), The Holy Hour (Working Girls Press, 2023), and I Hate My Job (Working Girls Press, 2026) — and is currently at work on a memoir.
She is also pursuing a Master of Divinity at Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago, working toward Unitarian Universalist ordination — ministry rooted in social justice and a lifelong commitment to walking alongside people on the margins.
